Course Instructor: Atiya Syverson, MS, CIH, CSP, CPE with over 25 years’ experience.
The training course covers ten (10) hours of training as required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA) in order to get the 10-hour General Industry course completion card. The course covers topics and regulations covered by Standard 29 CFR 1910.
Minimum Course Content
Day 1 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
- Introduction to OSHA
- Walking Working Surfaces
- Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Protection
- Electrical Safety
- Hazard Communication
Day 2 (8 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
- Machine Guarding
- Material Handling
Certificate and Training Card
Each attendee will get a Certificate of Class Completion & an OSHA General Industry Safety and Health 10-hour course completion card from the Department of Labor.
Notes: Class schedule subject to changes. Course may be cancelled if the minimum attendance is not reached.
